What a Great Island for Kids!

This weekend my best friend from high school brought her almost 5 year old down for a visit.  We had an awesome time!  Check out the Photo album dated September 2006.

We introduced her daughter to hibachi at Kurama's, riding the big waves on a fast boat (with dolphin I might add), playing in the ocean and learning to swim under water in the pool.  We ate ice cream, shopped, fed the turtles and played in the play ground (on the great tree house) in Sea Pines.  We stuffed our own teddy bear, Zoie, at Coligny Plaza, enjoyed the live band at the Tiki Hut, had dinner with Bree and Erin (the bartenders) at Marley's and walked on the beach until after dark. 

Hilton Head Island is truly the best of all worlds.  I suggest that you try it all!

September 7, 2006 ~ Vacation without Leaving Home!

I am so excited!  This weekend my highschool friend is coming to visit the Island with her little girl.  Sometimes living and working here full-time I forget how absolutely fantastic it is to vacation here.  So... this weekend is a vacation weekend.  We have beach, pool, shopping, dining and dolphin plans.  I will be sure to take photos all along the way and post them in my photo albums so that you can come along for the fun.  Until later....
