hiltonheadblog.typepad.com > Tampa Bay 3 Day Cancer Walk

On October 13 - 15th, 2006 my friend Ginger and I embarked on an amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer! A 60-mile walk over the course of three days to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Words can truly not describe how wonderful the walk was. No matter the difficulties everyone was so supportive and in such a great mood that the physical pain was almost non-existent. Here is more information on the walk... http://www.the3day.org/site/pp.asp?c=ciKTLcPRLvF&b=1509129

All of the Fire Stations along the route were decorated and the firemen were out in full force. We could not help but ask to take a photo with them. You go guys!

All along the walk there were wonderful volunteers that watched for traffic and made sure that we were safe. This guy was absolutely awesome!
